FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT.
Global Family is pleased to report that a minimum of 80% of our funds are given directly to protect children and preserve families. Our executive salaries are set within 25% of the median household income respectively.
Global Family has a strong history in receiving and managing funding from individual donors as well as grant funding entities. The Board of Directors has created a Financial Committee to review and manage major expenditures and provide financial authorization when appropriate. The Financial Committee, along with the Executive Director, ensures that funding is allocated to relevant projects and spent accordingly. The Finance Committee interacts regular with Global Family’s Office Manager and Administrator, as well as the larger Board of Directors which provides additional oversight and accountability. Each project country has their own policies and procedures for financial oversight which involve the oversight of their Board of Directors.
