We have the privilege of recently being able to facilitate the rescue of 14 Nepali children. These children, previously cared for in a nearby children’s home, had been abused and neglected. Even basic needs were not being met. Due to the strong relationship our team have with the local authorities and within the community, we were asked to help.
Suren, our Lead Coordinator in Nepal, and his team said ‘YES’ to caring for and restoring these children of which 6 have already been reunited with family. We have made room in our shelter and family home while our team actively seek out biological family support or longterm family care options… back home where they belong.
